Vintage Christmas Ideas
All the items on this post where made using these Crafty Secrets products. Plus I also used there Sweet Kids stamp set. This post has lots of pictures but to see the items in person you can come in to the Store and see them first hand
The Wreath is made with a Grape Vine wreath bought at the craft store. The Largest of the Santa's is from Crafty Secrets Cotton Scraps. Hes matted on Star Dream Paper and Best Creations Paper. All the the Santa's images have had the edges distressed and had Distressing Ink on them
The Candles image was stamped on tissue paper and colored in. Then you place it on the candle and cover it with wax paper and use your embossing tool on it.
For the basket all you have to do is glue a Cotton Scrap on it and embellish as desired. The ornaments also have Cotton Scraps on them and some ribbon. Stickles also work great on glass Ornaments. For more info on the card click HERE. This will take you to my personal blog and tell you how I made it.

Some Fridays Finds
I thought it would be fun to show some products that might get over looked while brozing thought the store.
Here is our Tattered Angels Glitter Mist. This wonderful product add sparkle and color to your paper crafts. You can click HERE to see an earlier post about them. Another wonderful about this product is that they have the color on the back of the bottle so you know exactly what color you are getting. If you don't see the color you where looking for let us know and we will order it in for you. You can also check out there web site HERE for some wonderful ideas for using there product.
Here are some wonderful products to adding ink to your project. With all of the you rub or dab then on your ink pad and then on your paper. How you apply it will give it a different affect.
Stating at the top going clockwise. We have Color Dusters, Stenciling brushes,Sponge Daubers and Sea Sponges. Each of this does different affects and very fun to play with.
We also carry Glue Pads. With this pad you can use your favorite stamp and then add glitter, flock or what ever else you can think of to your image. You use it just like an regular ink pad. The Doodlebug glitter works wonderfully with the Glue Pad.

The Slice is HERE
The Slice is IN!!! I was playing with it today and all I have to say is WOW. It is so easy to use. You let it charge for about an hour (well I didn't wait for it to charge I started playing right away which is okay to do) Put in the SD card like what in a camera and its so user friendly. They sell for 149.99 and you get a mat with it. The mat is made from glass and you add the adhesive (also included) to it, so you don't have to keep buying mats. You also get extra blades, Basic Shape 1 card. Extra cards are only 39.99. Come in and try it out and see how easy it is.

One last note. I plan on working on our regular web site this week that I will just have general info about the store in it. Lets hope I can get that done this week

For this card I used a leaf punch ane put the leaves on the paper then sprayed over them with a mister. Then I stamped over them with the leaf stamp. I Stamped the Girl and Turkey on a peice of paper cut out the girl, Happy Thanksgiving and turkey I used pop dots under the turkey and Happy Thanksgiving
Here is just a close up of the Girl and Turkey
This card has an accorden fold on top and you can hide your message under the fold. I used the Leaf it to Me stamps from SUI.
I saw the dog on the Boys and Bug stamp set and thought of the dog sitting next to the Thanksgiving dinner table checking out the food.

Think Pink and Tattered Angels
In Honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month we have a space dedicated to thinking Pink
Our 15% OFF pink Selection come in and check it out
Breast Cancer Card Idea using Sultry 6x6 Paper Pad from Basic Grey. The Stamps are Crafty Secret's Support the Girls and KI Memories ribbon. The edges were distressed with Rangers Worm Lipstick distressing ink and of course Stickles in Cotton Candy and Star Dust.
We are so exticed to have added Tattered Angels Glitter Mist to the store this week. I found this wonderful Hanging File Fold Tutorial while looking at blogs you can click HERE to see it four your self. Instead of useing the plastic stenticals I cut some images out on the Pazzle with Card Stock and used that for my stentcal. I used Bronze, Coral, and Timeless Lilac Glitter Mist on my folder. The Flowers are from Heidi Swapp then spritzed with the Coral Mist.
For this Christmas card I first Sprayed Bronze mist all over the paper and let it dried. The Gingerbread Man stamp is fromImaginisce first I have to cut of the Happy Holidays wording but as you can see were are going to use that latter on. Then I stamp the Gingerbread man on it using Ranger Adirondack Espresso Ink. I also stamped three Gingerbread Men on a scrap piece of cardstock and cut them out. I used repostional tape on them and put then over the stamps on the card so when I spray more colors the gingerbread men stay bronze. Then I sprayed Coral and Sea Foam Green Over the card. let it dry and took off the top Gingerbread men. Then I stamp Happy Holiday on the card using ColorBox Gold ink. I then used Gold Stickles to out line the Gingerbread Men and add a couple BoBunny Buttons.
