The 12 Days of Christmas

Starting on Friday, Dec 11 we will have a 12 days of Christmas sale. Each of the 12 days we are open from Dec. 11 to Dec 24, we will have a different item or group of items on sale. One day it might be all our brads another could be a certain line of paper. We will post the item for sale on our blog after 5 PM the night before the sale.

Here Comes Christmas!

Thanksgiving is over and we are on the fast track to Christmas. On December 3,4,& 5 we will have our Christmas open house. Come in and draw for a percentage off your purchase. On Saturday, you can make Christmas tags during the Tag Make'N'Take.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, How lovely are your branches!

It's time to put up the Christmas tree, and get out the ornaments that are treasured from year to year. If you want to get new ornaments this year why not make some. I have cut paper using old German patterns, they make great tree ornaments or to hang in windows. Have you made paper snowflakes lately? They also look great hanging on the tree or in the window. Scandinavian woven hearts are fun for Christmas decorating or use them to put a small gift in. If you need a garland there is the paper chain, with double sided papers you have endless possibilities for your creation. Have fun getting ready for Christmas and remember not to let the season overwhelm you. Enjoy the season, your family, and make memories - it is the one of the few things that you don't have to put away during January.

Stamp with the Ink Spots

The Ink Spots will be stamping and having their Christmas gathering on December 8th. Everyone should bring some kind of finger food to share, a New Year's Eve card to exchange and if anyone was in on the "complete someone else's card" challenge, they are to bring that card completed.
At the November, Tuesday Stamp Night they decided to call the group the Ink Spots, because they all go home with some spots of ink.

On Saturday January 16th, Gloria Jackson will be teaching a basic stamping class from 10 to 12 AM. The cost of the class is $5. Please contact the store to sign up. 507-373-1996

Nick's 22nd Birthday

Nick is celebrating his 22nd birthday on the 20th of October. He wanted to celebrate with all of you. He said all of his favorites should be 22% off. This includes all Lego Paper and stickers, all the Star Wars Papers, Drama Paper, and because its his birthday all the birthday paper will also be on sale.

The last 2 weeks of October all of our Pink Ribbon papers and stickers will be 25% off to celebrate those have had Breast Cancer and to help find a cure for those who will be diagnosed in the future.

The 2nd Annual Scrapbooking "Crop for the Cure" Will he held in Carpenter Community Center in Carpenter, Iowa on November 14, 2009 from 9AM to Midnight, the cost is $30 for the day.
